Panorama

For this assignment we had to take 3 overlapping pictures and turn them into a panoramic shot. I took this picture in the hall outside my classroom. I approached this assignment by taking several different sets of pictures and then choosing the best set. I am happy with the way this turned out.

Armchair

For this assignment we had to take an armchair and reupholster it with artwork from one artist. I approached this assignment by picking out and artist (Picasso), and then finding pictures I liked by him. Using the warp tool I changed the shape of the images to make it appear as though they were actually part of the chair. If I were to do anything differently I would make the shadow better. I was inspired by Picasso. 

Kaleidoscope

Fot this assignment we had to take a picture and adjust it so that it looked like you were viewing it through a Kaleidoscope. I approached this assignment by picking out a picture I had taken and cropping it into a 5x5 square. I then cut the square in half diagonally and rotated/ copied it to fill the canvas. I was inspired by my classmates work. I would not do anything differently. 

Midterm

For this assignment we had to take 24-30 images and turn them into a collage along with several original images. I approached this assignment by picking a theme -- NYC. I then found pictures on the internet and added filters and effects to make them blend in a random, fun way. I was inspired by the many billboards in Time Square. If I could do anything differently I would have more images in the assignment.

9x Project

For this project I had to do the same thing as the 4 Square Project except have 9 pictures of myself and add a frame. I took the picture with the webcam on my computer and then changed the photo background using Photoshop. I was inspired by my previous work. I approached this by picking a color theme and using filters that would agree with my theme. I would not do anything differently. 

Taaz

For this assignment we had to go to a photo-editing site, edit a photo, and then write a review of the site. I went to Taaz.com, a free website that lets you put makeup on models or on pictures you upload. Its cool because it makes it easy to edit peoples faces. It is a lot more basic than photoshop because with photoshop you can to anything, unlike on Taaz.com where you can only do hair and makeup. I think the target audience is teenage girls because they are the ones who follow celebrity trends and experiment with makeup. If you want to test it out the link is http://www.taaz.com/.

4 Square Filter Project

For this assignment we had to take an image, copy it four times and apply different filters to them. I approached this project at random by selecting different filters and just experimenting with their combined effects. I was inspired by the examples. If I could do anything differently I would combine more filters and have a theme.
